Our soft and delicious Dutch currant bun or Krentenbollen as it is known in The Netherlands is a sweet bread roll baked with currants or raisins mixed into the dough. Dutch currant buns are usually eaten for breakfast, brunch or for a quick snack at any time of the day. We love ours toasted with thing slices of sharp aged cheddar cheese.
